Every working woman needs at her finger tips some sure fire beauty hacks that she can do in her sleep, or if she’s had close to no sleep. We all can’t walk around with a hair and makeup team at the ready but that doesn’t mean we can’t look like as if we don’t! Just because you were up all night bawling over being passed over for that promotion, your teenager dissing you or your ex who’s turned into your worst nightmare, doesn’t mean you have to look it the next AM.

Whether you were sobbing, stressing, working too late, or just binge-watching your favorite Netflix show the night before, start the morning with a fresh face and some beauty tips to hide all of your flaws.
1. You stayed up crying, festering and worrying
Solution: Step one, don’t tell anyone who or what was making you miserable. And on another note – why would you do that to yourself anyway? You’re just giving that person or thing all the more POWER over you. Next time – allow yourself 20 minutes at most for a full self absorbed sob session and then be done with it.
Now for damage control. You’re left with those tiny puffy eyes that are a dead give away. Blame it on allergies.
First thing’s first, get rid of the redness and puffiness with some super strong eye drops courtesy of the drugstore.
Washing your face in cold water will help de-puff and adding on a bold lip will distract from the fact that your eyes pretty much look like you’ve gone a few rounds in the UFC.
Add on some under-eye serum and you’re ready to go.

In case you still have some tears left, avoid any non water proof mascara and go for the heavy duty stuff. Every girl needs a back up.
2. You stayed up all night with the kids
Alright so if you’re rolling back into bed for the 3rd time at 3 or 4am with a 7am wake up call to bring your older kid to school no worries, you’ll just need a little beauty magic to keep you on your A-game.
Step one? Catch your few winks, if you can that is. Anything is better than nothing. Even if you feel like the night of the living dead the next time the alarm goes off after you’ve been in a blissful sleep pattern.
If you can take a shower (yeah right), wash your hair. Even if it’s a sink hair shower. It’s refreshing and can give you a blank slate to work with.
Then chug, chug, chug water. Use a drugstore brand oil-absorber sheet to take off all that momma daze sweat, and as for those dark circles? Just pile on the mascara and some neutral eyeshadow. In the colder months, smokey eyes are totally acceptable during the day.
Just clean it up a bit and refresh yourself with a little olay face spritz and throw your hair under a chic beanie.
It’s super important to catch a power nap during the day to make it through and keep your spirits high.
3. You had too many cocktails during ladies night out
Solution: Contrary to popular belief, you can not, take back what you said during this time of uninhibited blabbermouth.
Now when the realization comes along and you come to the realization that payback is not all worth it you have to decide how to make it through and look decent while doing so.
Just don’t expect to look like sleeping beauty in the morning. Besides aches akin to bedsores, you may pry open your eyes open in the morning to super dry skin, chapped lips, and total bedhead.
Need to get it together fast? We’ve got you covered. Take off your sleep mask, and after flushing your face with some cold water, moisturize with an energizing GinZing pick-me-up from Origins.
You can always try a ‘dirty lemon hangover cure drink‘ too:
This drink looks just as dirty as the name suggests, but, it works wonders for curing a hangover. Preparing the drink is no big deal; simply combine lemon juice, water, dandelion extract, ginger and the main ingredient activated charcoal mixed together and the drink is ready.
Activated charcoal is made from coconut, coal or wood and is mainly used in detox drinks. The alkaline nature of activated charcoal enables it to absorb the poison (alcohol) and preventing it from getting into the stomach.
Lemon activates and boosts the liver function which enables it to filter out the alcohol from the body. Ginger helps in neutralizing and soothing an upset stomach. Dandelion is an excellent source of antioxidants; it stimulates the liver and helps in curing the effects of excess alcohol.
Take care of chapped lips with a sweet EOS lip balm packed with antioxidant-rich vitamin E, shea butter and jojoba oil, then wake up your skin with Physician’s Formula palette of glow pearls. Just a swipe across your face and you look ready to take on the day.
Don’t forget the lipstick. Light and pink will keep you looking fresh.
4. You overdid it on the junk food during that Netflix binge.
Solution: Too much pizza, too much chocolate, too much couch-sitting. It happens to all of us every once in a lazy weekend, but don’t carry that salt-bloat to the office come Monday.
Start your morning with a cold brew iced coffee – it’s a diuretic so it’ll help release that water weight. Then pull out the big guns – some anti-aging serum.
There’s nothing like a skin-tightening formula for a (temporary) snap back to get you back to reality. Put your best face forward by highlighting your cheekbones and all those chips will long be forgotten.
5. You have a new zit right in the middle of your face
Why do those suckers always pop up so obtrusively without notice?
If you don’t have any zit cream handy, no need to cake on foundation – that’ll just draw more attention to the spot. Instead, after you’ve cleaned the area apply your primer as normal. Then apply a little coat of green concealer, yes you heard me! to mask the offensive bugger. See video below!
After that opt for a light BB cream and all-over matte powder. Whatever you do don’t pop that sucker even though you just watched that zit popping video!
