Bananas are a comfortable and useful midnight snack and perfect breakfast food that can saturate and replenish the body with energy. The fruit contains about 100 calories per 100 grams, making it the perfect food to soothe the growing hunger and deliver you a portion of vitamins and minerals.
Different people like different types of bananas. According to some, greener ones are more useful, others prefer browned and more ripe bananas. Green, yellow or brown? The color of banana gives its maturity. What few know is, however, that in its different phases, this fruit has different health benefits.
These are the “youngest” bananas. They are not very sweet because they contain less sugar in this phase and are therefore also recommended for those who keep a stricter diet. Unripe bananas also contain probiotics that are beneficial for the digestive system. They are very suitable for cooking. Keep in mind, however, that it can cause stomach and gas swelling.
In this version, the fruit is sweeter and softer. There is more sugar than green bananas, but it also has more antioxidants than them. Because of the higher sugar content, these bananas are not recommended for people with type 2 diabetes.
Bananas of brown dots
The points show the amount of starch that has become sugar – more points, more sugar. Brown points, however, are also a stimulant for the immune system because they also show the amount of antioxidants growing with banana ripening. According to some research, banana points are excellent for cancer prevention and are associated with the destruction of tumor formations.
Most of you probably avoid entirely brown bananas because they have a taste of fermented fruit and are too sweet and soft. As we have already explained, the brown color indicates a high antioxidant content. You can consume them in the form of fruit puree, shame and shakes. Do not add any sweeteners, however, because they contain a lot of sugar.
